Beautifully bred son of Frankel out of the smart mare Karen's Caper. Took time to get the message but ran with credit when fourth of 13 on Wolverhampton debut last November. Will come on plenty and merits huge respect here.
Twice races son of Camelot who himself excelled at three. Second of 12 on debut at Kempton and third of 14 since at Newbury. Arguably boasts the best form here and looks certain to make a bold bid.
Third and fifth in first two starts both saw him chase home seriously smart winners. Would have expected a little more in final start but combination of step up to 1m2f and AW surface offer excuses. Gelded since and not out of this.
Pivotal colt whose dam won over 1m. Shown ability in both starts although only midfield in each. May be better suited by handicaps after this but tough ask today.
Once-raced daughter of Mastercraftsman showed ability on debut at Nottingham keeping on for sixth while looking sure to improve for the experience. Tough task today but not a huge surprise if she goes well.
Forecasts
Current Option (1/1), Casanova (5/2), Le Don De Vie (10/3), Turntable (11/1), Fancy Dress (25/1), Mr Zoom Zoom (40/1)
The well-bred CASANOVA showed enough on debut to suggest he will be well up to winning a race such as this and he gets the nod for champion trainer John Gosden. Current Option arguably has the best form on offer but in his third start he isn't quite as unexposed as the selection. Le Don De Vie looks the best of the rest.
