Twice a winner for Charlie Hills but form has regressed badly in four starts for new yard, beating only one rival home in the process. Down in grade but remains hard to recommend.
Broke maiden tag at Chelmsford in February but has been well below that in two starts since off revised mark. Down 1lb but may continue to struggle on turf debut.
Son of Oasis Dream who cost 180,000gns as a yearling but was snapped up for 7,000 gns at Newmarket sales and has continued to struggle in two starts for new yard. Good jockey booking but improvement needed on handicap debut.
Dual-winner for Richard Fahey before joining this yard for 5,000gns. Made no impression on stable debut in December but better suited by the return to turf and down in grade. Likely to fare better in a weak race.
Sole win came in a maiden back in 2016. Returned from a lengthy break and struggled to make an impression in two starts for new yard. Return to turf a positive and stable won this last year.
Seven-race maiden showed some promise at Kempton in October but two runs since have been very disappointing. Down in trip on season reappearance but remains a risky proposition.
Scored back-to-back wins in October 2017 but without a win since. Now 9lb lower but has needed the run on reappearance in the past and better suited by a softer surface.
Just two wins from 39 starts and out of form on AW lately. Suited by a quicker surface and return to this distance but a bit to prove at present.
Forecasts
Take It Down Under (5/2), Sussex Girl (5/2), Hi Ho Silver (9/2), Mochalov (8/1), Spanish Mane (11/1), Conqueress (12/1), Percy Toplis (14/1), Rosarno (20/1)
A race where all have questions to answer and it may pay to take a chance with SPANISH MANE who has conditions to suit and won't get many better opportunities. Sussex Girl may need the run but is at least potentially well-handicapped while Conqueress is race-fit and may fare better returning to turf.
- Spanish Mane
- Sussex Girl
- Conqueress
