Ended last season with a good 2L third over 7f at Kempton in October. Shapes as if this extra distance will suit and he is a leading player from a good draw with a useful apprentice booked to ride.

Signs of ability in three starts at two but finished well beaten over 7f on handicap debut at Wolverhampton last month. Hood added to the cheekpieces worn for the first time on that occasion.

Fair fourth in a 6f handicap at Kempton last month. Struggled in first time cheekpieces (replaced with a visor here) over 7f at Wolverhampton subsequently however. Market support would be notable upped in distance.

Fair form in novice company earlier this year but struggled when beaten 25L on handicap debut at Nottingham (1m2f, good-to-firm) earlier this month. Drop in trip looks likely to suit.

Promising sixth over 7f at Kempton on second start in novice company last month but well held at Leicester (7f, good) subsequently. Interesting to see how he fares upped in trip on handicap debut.

Followed up a victory over this trip at Kempton with a ½L second in a handicap over the same C&D earlier this month. One for the shortlist despite a 2lb rise in the weights.

Some promising efforts over around this trip for previous trainers and off the mark when winning over 1m at Kempton on debut for this stable recently. Raised 4lb for that victory and a wide draw to contend with in this contest.

Well held in three starts in novice company including over this trip at Kempton a month ago. Market support would be notable on first attempt at handicaps.

Placed four times from 13 starts and beaten just ¾L when fourth over 7f at Kempton last time out. Experienced interference in the closing stages of that event and is one for the shortlist on this occasion.

Regressed since finishing a promising fourth over 6f at Chelmsford when debuting last September. Probably best watched following a 10L defeat over this trip on handicap debut at Kempton recently.

Good 3L fourth over 1m2f at Chelmsford last month on his most recent start. Drop back in distance likely to suit and he is of interest on this occasion.

Beaten just one rival home in four starts so far and gelded since suffering a heavy C&D defeat on handicap debut in January. Others make more appeal.

Forecasts

Temujin (10/3), Capofaro (5/1), Lippy Lady (5/1), Trouble Shooter (6/1), Comeonfeeltheforce (7/1), Sacred Warner (8/1), Poor Auld Paddy (10/1), Dorchester (14/1), Clubora (16/1), Maid Millie (20/1), Croqueta (33/1), Supreme Chance (100/1)

Verdict

LIPPY LADY ran well when fourth at Kempton last time out and she can register a first victory by taking this competitive three-year-old only handicap. The selection has a decent draw and she can get the better of Capofaro who has won and placed on his two most recent appearances. Temujin registered a career best effort when placed on his most recent start and he is taken to claim third.
  1. Lippy Lady
  2. Capofaro
  3. Temujin
