Has looked rather one paced so far in races up to 2m3f and takes a big step up in trip here. Only lightly raced though and likely needed run last time after 11-month absence. Yard in form so worrt a market check.
Grade 2-winning novice chaser for Neil Mulholland back in 2015. Hasn't appeared force of old in recent seasons and joined current handler prior to pulling up when tailed off at Warwick last month on first start for some time.
Scored twice over fences for Emma Lavelle in 2016/17 campaign. Second over 3m5f on second start for current yard and would have found minimum trip last time far too sharp. Interesting back at ths trip and may not be far away.
Won off 6lb lower mark at Fontwell (2m6f) in October but threw in a poor run last time at Sandown when well beaten. Eased 1lb and steps up 6f so stamina has to be open to question.
Connections went to £47,000 to buy her after she won Irish mares maiden point-to-point in early 2018. Has looked a little one paced under Rules at up to 2m7f so step up in trip may help her cause. Stable companion of Buster Moon.
Last win came over 3m1f at Huntingdon in November 2017 off 2lb lower mark. Runner-up over C&D in June last year off 3lb higher mark but ran poorly last time. Revival not out of the question on second start following wind surgery.
Stays well and was in fine form landing autumn hat-trick, including one over fences. 11lb higher now than last hurdles success and may well be in handicapper's grip judged on recent chase efforts.
Good second on penultimate start over 5f less at Hereford last month but weakened quickly over 2m7f at Exeter last time finishing tailed off. Tries longer trip and no certain to see it out.
Five-time winner but hasn't struck for nearly three years and is on a long losing run. Stays the trip though and is 1lb lower than when distant runner-up over C&D last time out.
Only win in 28 starts came over 2m at Catterick in 2017. Ran well on only second start for current yard when close third at Kelso last time in first-time cheekpieces which are retained. Appeared not stay beyond 3m on only previous attempt.
Failed by just a neck at Exeter earlier this term off this mark and has better chance than many off staying the trip on preferred decent ground. Returns from wind surgery so if op has done the trick could go well getting weight all round.
Forecasts
Ballybough Nora (2/1), Set List (5/2), General Allenby (15/2), Apple Mack (8/1), Buster Moon (9/1), Fenlons Court (10/1), Night Generation (16/1), Love The Leader (20/1), Pahaska (25/1), Linguine (25/1), Southfield Royale (33/1)
SET LIST steps back up to a more suitable trip than the two miles he encountered last time and should go well for his in-form yard. At the foot of the weights the mare Pahaska cannot be ruled out if wind surgery has helped her breathing, and top weight Buster Moon comes into the reckoning being less exposed than most and with the potential to improve over this longer trip. His stable companion Ballybough Nora is another who may do better facing the stiffer test this time.
