Not disgraced on either AW run last month. Has winning track form over slightly further on quick ground, but he appears to have a tough mark to overcome.

Consistent handicapper who has made all to score at Southwell and Wolverhampton during the winter. More than capable of doing the same on turf but his new mark requires a career best effort.

Scored twice here last year including this event under today's rider off 1lb lower. Conditions were a lot more testing, but he's gone well on good-to-firm previously and Monday's reappearance augurs well.

Generally wins his races from the summer onwards and can handle all ground types. Only beat one home in this last year and his mark may need to dip to 80 or below.

Made all for an easy win at Chepstow last summer off today's mark and also ran well off higher. Effective from 5f-7f but two AW runs last month were a long way below-par.

4-9 at this track and ideally suited to the prevailing conditions. Yet to make the frame off a mark above 75 and usually needs a run, but definitely worth tracking as he's close to his optimum mark.

Went without a win last year but produced some good races in defeat. Hovering close to his optimum mark but he usually needs a run and his best efforts have come under David Egan.

8/1
Triple C&D winner who is holding his form well and is on a handy mark. It's a while since he got competitive in a 0-85, but the likely pace scenario here should set things up nicely for him.

Powerful Dreamp200

Has a 3-18 record here and handles these fast conditions. Can go well after a break, but she is 3lb out of the weights and she will probably need this after a 200 day absence.

Verdict

These sprint handicaps at Bath are notoriously hard to predict but it is safe to say there will be a strong gallop with Acclaim The Nation, Bungee Jump and Little Boy Blue all liking to press on. Delegate This Lord and Secretfact should not be long in winning, whilst the enigmatic Bahamian Sunrise is more than capable of rebounding from a dreadful run last time as he's proved in the past. Ron Harris saddles last year's winner THE DALEY EXPRESS who will be reunited with Franny Norton. The strong gallop will help and Monday's reappearance signalled he was ready to step up. Stable companion Union Rose looks his main danger.
  1. The Daley Express
  2. Union Rose
  3. Bahamian Sunrise
