Looked ready for this sort of trip on his Navan reappearance which was a big improvement on his juvenile form. First AW run but pedigree offers no reason to believe it will inconvenience him. Yard 4-8 with this age group here this year.
Has shown very little in any of his three starts and none of the winners in his family scored beyond a mile.
Half-brother to four winners including Group 2 victor Centennial. Heavily supported ahead of comeback run when just finding one too good and yard have a good record in maidens here with this age group.
Rip Van Winkle filly out of a Dalakhani mare. Cost €9,000 as a yearling. Slowly in to stride on debut at Galway in July and best watched here.
Stepped up from her debut to finish third to a 1000 Guineas trial runner-up. Bred to be suited by this trip but giving away a fitness advantage to some improving rivals.
Forecasts
Dunkirk Harbour (4/9), Pearlman (11/4), Mallacoota (6/1), Lady Of Luxury (50/1), Lethal Endeavour (66/1)
Mallacoota's third to Ballydoyle's Happen probably rates the strongest piece of form but she has been off since October and that could count against her. Dunkirk Harbour has obviously improved over the winter and looks ready to progress further over this trip, but PEARLMAN is proven over C&D having been second to a useful sort on his return when the market was extremely positive.
- Pearlman
- Dunkirk Harbour
- Mallacoota
