Verdict

The opening race of the season at Nottingham promises plenty for the future with a plethora of inexperienced, but talented three-year-old's making up a 16-strong field. Vasiliev made a pleasing start to his racing career at Kempton (second), so Clive Cox's Dutch Art colt merits much in the way of respect. Similar comments apply to the twice-raced Richard Hannon-trained colt King Of Change who also boasts the benefit of previous C&D experience having finished second to Dalaalaat in a division of the Golden Horn maiden. However, the selection is the 120,000gns foal MOKAMMAL, who chased home the subsequent UAE 2000 Guineas winner Estihdaaf on debut at Leicester in October.
  1. Mokammal
  2. Vasiliev
  3. King Ademar
