Won her first two starts over 5f at Catterick and York and went close in Listed company at Sandown. Also ran respectably in an Ascot Group 3. Returns from a seven-month break, but we know she goes well fresh and she enters calculations.
Back-to-back wins last year (5f, good/good to soft) and some strong form on several other occasions, but at the same time not always consistent. Gelded prior to this return to action. Can't rule him out.
C&D winner (good to firm) of a novice event last season. The form of that and his three subsequent runs was not strong enough to suggest he is up to winning this however.
Improved with each of her first four starts last season, winning the fourth of them at Ripon. Followed up at Newmarket in October, which came after a break. Acts on fast ground but will need to improve again to be competitive here.
Scored at both Wolverhampton and Chester last season, the latter on soft. Disappointed when last seen at Chester on his handicap debut in September. Gelded since then and looks worth a market check on his return.
Dual 6f AW winner earlier in the year. Beaten 6L on his handicap debut at Wolverhampton last month. Tries turf for the first time here, and remains of interest. Tongue-tied for the first time.
Improved with each start until winning on his third at Hamilton (6f, good) in June. Well below that level of form next time, and not seen since later that month. Gelded since then and goes handicapping from a fair mark. Market check advised.
Soft ground Doncaster winner over this trip in November. Ran well on his handicap debut at Newcastle last month, and from the same mark you would have to respect his chance here.
Scored second time out here over 5f (good to soft) this time last year. Not as good under a penalty next time, and not seen since May. Initial mark looks a bit stiff based strictly on the form book, but market warmth might indicate improvement.
Went close at both Kempton and Brighton in the autumn, and ran respectably on his return last month. More needed, however, if he is to break his duck.
Southwell maiden winner (5f) in February and went close back there on his handicap debut last month. Back up in trip and on a stiffer track here, while he also has it to prove on fast ground.

Kinks (5/2), Chapelli (13/2), Lorton (7/1), Ventura Ocean (8/1), Dahawi (8/1), Wild Edric (8/1), Edgewood (8/1), Oberyn Martell (8/1), Fair Alibi (14/1), Look Out Louis (25/1), Punjab Mail (25/1), Carey Street (28/1)
An interesting contest and with plenty of them on handicap debut, the market should be a good guide as to who thinks they might have got in a little light. Those of interest are Dahawi, Wild Edric, Kinks and Oberyn Martell, but preference is for CHAPELLI, who goes well when fresh and looks one of the classier acts in the race.
- Chapelli
- Dahawi
- Oberyn Martell
