Dual distance winner will have disappointed connections when finishing 20L adrift of the winner Mr Everest at Naas when last seen in November. First-time cheekpieces reached for but is hard to enthuse over in this company.
Leading player based on a couple of solid runs last summer in Group and Listed company including getting within 4¼L of the ill-fated Sir Erec when last seen at Limerick in October. Rated 10lbs ahead of these and could be the one to beat.
Won on Flat debut for Ger Lyons last spring before joining current yard. Won a 2m maiden hurdle here in November, eventually achieving an attractive mark of 120. Plenty more needed on return to the level.

The Jessica Harrington-trained Whirling Dervish was not disgraced in five starts last term running well without getting his head in front and could mount a challenge to the likes of the Teofilo gelding Twilight Payment who is rated 10lbs clear of his nearest rival and the Dermot Weld-trained HASANABAD who finished third behind subsequent winner, Hunting Horn and 4L adrift of Irish Derby victor, Latrobe on sole start at Naas 12 months ago.
