Not the easiest to win with by any means and yet to win over this far, although a couple of efforts at it do suggest he stays fine. Not one to rely on but had chances in a lowly contest if fit after a short break.

Back on the same mark as last win, that coming at Kempton last October (2m). Went off the boil after that but has had a break, and has gone well fresh in the past, so has chances at a track where he has form.

Finished off last year with a flourish, winning at Kempton and then a close third at Wolverhampton, both over 2m, has first start for new yard here and misses a Sunday engagement at Doncaster to run here instead. Of some interest.

First start for new yard (formerly with Ed Vaughan), wasn't really progressing last year and addition of blinkers seemed to do little. Now tried at a new trip and with a tongue tie, but has too may risks to get involved with here.

Rattling off the wins and seemed to find the step up to 14f at Wolverhampton last time out no bother. 4lb rise and another 2f to travel here ask new questions, but only a fool would write him off given current wellbeing.

Has run to a similar level last four starts, seems to stay 2m based on last couple of outings but not really improved for it. Early days for her yet though, so may do better, and booking of Atzeni does catch the eye. One to note.

Has some placed form here but bottom line with her is that she's yet to win in 16 starts and this is a big step up in trip for her. Far from certain to get it and not hard to look elsewhere for the winner.

No surprise he's taken time to come to himself, given his size, but now seems to be getting the message and has finished runner-up over this trip last two starts. Likes to get on with it and may be hard to catch if handling the surface.

Yet to win in nine starts but has gone close over this trip a couple of times and handles this track. Suspicion is there's a race in him when it falls right but he's a touch one-paced and not one for the mortgage.

Fourth of five over 2m here in February, but beaten less than a length, a run that would give him a squeak but he's yet to win on the Flat (has 2 hurdle successes to his name) and others make more appeal for win purposes.

Looks on the downgrade already but there's one run over C&D back in 2017 that offers some hope off this lowly mark, but has another absence to overcome and is simply far too risky. Has had a wind operation since last being seen.

Forecasts

Singing The Blues (11/4), Mood For Mischief (3/1), Queen Of Paris (6/1), Love To Breeze (13/2), Highway One (8/1), Whinging Willie (10/1), Tin Fandango (12/1), Looking For Carl (12/1), Knight Commander (20/1), Fitzwilly (25/1), Everlasting Sea (50/1)

Verdict

This won't take a lot of winning. TIN FANDANGO has been knocking at the door in his last two starts and with little in the way of early pace here, might get his own way up front. If Josephine Gordon gets the fractions right, she can make all. Queen Of Paris has an interesting jockey booking and although she looks a bit one paced, she can stay on for places here. Singing The Blues has stamina to conclusively prove at this trip but is in great heart and can give another good account. Fitzwilly and Looking For Carl both deserve a second look too.
  1. Tin Fandango
  2. Queen Of Paris
  3. Singing The Blues
