Showcasing colt was a 50,000 gns Breeze-Ups purchase, made fine start when winning over 6f at Nottingham despite racing quite keenly last May. Not seen again since so may have had issues. Visored here and an intriguing contender.
Kodiac colt whose price increased to 420,000 gns earlier this year. Just outbattled on debut at Doncaster in early-June but went one better at Kempton in October when winning a nine-runner contest. More to come and respected here.
Son of Toronado made a pleasing start to his career at Newcastle last month (7f, AW) when overcoming a slow start to finish a good second. Suspect there will be more depth about this but should come on plenty.
Dubawi newcomer, 11th foal; brother to winners Luck Or Design (6f-1m inc Ire 2yo/HK Singapore Gr 1 as Lucky Nine), Dayking (7f) & Muneyra (7f AW) and half-brother to 3 winners. Well bred and from top yard, demands respect on debut.
£48,000 Y; 6th foal; half-brother to winners Staxton (6f inc at 2), Lazarus Bell (7f 2yo) and Classic Pursuit (5f-6f inc at 2/AW); dam 1m4f winner. Interesting newcomer worth a look in the market.
Well related son of Dubawi finished a good third on debut at Newmarket last autumn. Subsequent sixth a shade disappointing but too early to rule him out especially given connections.
Made a significant improvement on his Chelmsford debut when beaten under 4L into fourth at Kempton over 6f but got loose at the start next at the same venue leading to his withdrawal. 7f to suit here but others appeal more.
By Kodiac, £48,000 Y; second foal; dam unplaced half-sister to numerous winners mainly at 5f (none beyond 1m) inc 5f Group 1 winner Kyllachy and useful 5f performers Borders and Speed On out of 5f 2yo winner. Speedy pedigree so market can guide.
Nayef filly made a fair start when finishing fifth at Newcastle on recent debut but this likely a deeper contest so improving on that difficult.
Well beaten in two races at Redcar last August and makes no appeal here.

An interesting race this and a chance is taken on Kempton winner FOX CHAMPION, an expensive purchase thought good enough at one stage to run in the Coventry by a yard with an excellent record in that race although he missed the engagement. Franz Kafka made a promising debut and could easily leave his subsequent run behind now at three. Of the newcomers Country makes the most appeal both on pedigree and connections.
