Mark has been plummeting with good cause. Couple of runs around New Year, latest here when attempting 1m2f, didn't offer much hope for 13-race maiden.
11-race maiden that has limited ability on evidence to date. Will be vulnerable to anything with ability, though has made the frame in previous two starts, including over a mile here.
11-race maiden on the AW, but has gone close, including over C&D. Couple of pleasing efforts here and at Kempton (both 6f) lately since adding blinkers and should be in the mix.
Seven-time winner most recently when triumphing by 1L in a 7f handicap at this venue in December. Likes to front-run, has folded tamely of late, including here last time off short break.
His 11-race winless career has been an interrupted one, but he showed plenty on stable debut this month over 7f at Kempton when finishing fourth of 14, keeping on late in the day (66-1). May be able to build on that.
Both AW wins have come on Wolverhampton's Tapeta, though didn't run badly on first visit here in December (1m, finished fifth of 12). Running consistent races over 7f since and place claims are there to see.
Hasn't happened in four starts back from a layoff, three of them around here. Lost his action and pulled up at Kempton in January, then weakened to be last of 10 over a mile here last month.
Sole win came in September 2017 for Mark Johnston and while shaping well when placed over this trip at Wolverhampton in January, he was well below that next two starts. First-time visor did seem to help over 6f latest.
Out of form in latest two runs at the end of last year for Jose Santos and no impression this month over 6f at Wolverhampton on stable debut. Ran poor race only previous start around here.
Turf winner at Brighton over this trip in the autumn off a mark of 53, has shaped ok in three AW starts since; though does appear to need the new cheekpieces to bring some improvement.
Has dropped below mark from C&D success in December but is proving inconsistent and needs to leave latest poor form behind. Visor didn't work here last time, discarded now in favour of a first-time tongue-tie.
Off the mark at the 16th time of asking when just hanging on from Tavener over C&D 17 days ago on third start for this yard. Can go well again off the back of that run.

Dark Magic (7/2), Maazel (5/1), Waqt (11/2), Shamlan (6/1), Kafeel (9/1), Confrerie (9/1), Middlescence (10/1), Knockout Blow (10/1), Brockey Rise (10/1), Soaring Spirits (16/1), Footstepsintherain (16/1), Jupiter (25/1), Billyoakes (25/1), Formiga (28/1)
He's yet to win on an artificial surface but DARK MAGIC has knocked on the door a couple of times and, with better luck, might have scored over 6f here last month. This trip is fine and the blinkers might assist his case in an open heat. Similarly, Middlescence is surely going to open his account soon enough while Shamlan, Brockey Rise and Maazel arrive here in good heart and merit consideration.
