An £85,000 four-year-old, made a winning point-to-point debut in Ireland last year before joining current connections. Could have a big say on debut for Pond House team.
Scorpion gelding is a half-brother to fair hurdler/useful chaser Sonneofpresenting. Plenty hints at stamina in pedigree, but worth a market check on first start.
Sent off 33-1 on debut here last month and beaten more than 30L. May need further emphasis on stamina in time before making a mark.
€52,000 purchase, half-sister to useful hurdles winners Draco and Ratoute Yutty. Tongue-tied on debut for in-form Nicholls yard and needs a close look under Bryony Frost.
Inexpensive four-year-old, first foal, dam, unraced, half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/smart chaser Shining Gale (stayed 3m+). Point-to-point form suggests watching brief for now.
Passing Glance half-brother to three winners, including fairly useful hurdler Cosmeapolitan. Runner-up in an ordinary bumper at Ludlow last month on second run. Needs more to go one better.
Half-brother to fairly useful hurdler Halling's Wish, though also has plenty speed on the dams side. Market should reveal more on first visit to the racetrack.

Perfect Predator sets the standard on those that have run, though it may not prove a high benchmark for the newcomers to reach. New Guard is respected for the in-form Paul Nicholls team at a track where his bumper runners do well but the nod goes to fellow debutant FIRST LORD DE CUET. He fetched a nice price after winning his Irish point-to-point last year and should have plenty to offer for David Pipe, the Pond House trainer having won with both bumper runners so far in 2019.
