Ended the last turf season in good form but went up in the weights without winning. Likes a good test of stamina and is over a more appropriate trip than when last seen. Been placed off this mark but is 10lb above his last winning rating.

Won his last two starts in good style and well suited by this trip. Solid jockey booking captures the imagination and the gelding can go close from just 3lb higher than his last time out win.

Reverts to the Flat after a brief spell over hurdles during the winter. Has a bit to prove on this surface, however, and has a stiff test ahead in attempting to rid himself of the maiden tag on the Flat at the fifteenth time of asking.

Stays this trip but is arguably better over 1m4f; has also been well held off this mark twice lately. Others hold more convincing profiles.

Been in reasonable form of late but does have a bit to find with Blazon judging by their encounter here last month. That was his only start at this course and he needs up the ante considerably to figure this time.

0-5 but does have ability and possible the fitting of a tongue tie can help the filly save a little in reserve this time. Open to improvement and not much to find to make the frame if building on her C&D run from last time out.

Had a Queen Of Paris in behind last time and was unlucky to come up against a well handicapped winner on that occasion. The gelding did little wrong though and can be force in this company if in a similar mood this time. Worth considering.

Has won over hurdles but form on the Flat leaves a little to be desired. Should stay the trip but possible he'll find things happening too quickly for his liking on this surface.

Lightly raced and seemed to enjoy the step up to this trip latest; won comfortably at Wolverhampton and has to be respected from just a 4lb higher mark this time. Unexposed at the distance but needs to prove she handles the Polytrack surface.

A low-grade handicapper that is 0-18 so far and has a bit to find in this company even though she's shown promise in her last two outings. Never dangerous the only previous time he raced at this course and is hard to recommend.

Forecasts

Blazon (5/4), Percy Prosecco (9/2), Queen Of Paris (7/1), Thresholdofadream (8/1), Tin Fandango (9/1), Strictly Art (12/1), Nafaayes (14/1), Sweetest Smile (14/1), Paddys Runner (16/1), Normandy Blue (25/1), Belabour (33/1)

Verdict

THRESHOLDOFADREAM has scope for more improvement and can build on what was a gutsy effort to win at Lingfield earlier in the month. Raised just 2lb for that narrow win, the gelding can make this a tough scrap. Tin Fandango is also respected and is entitled to be thereabouts if running to the best of his ability. Blazon edges out old rival Nafaayes as the most appealing of the remainder.
