Plenty to improve upon from starts since joining his current yard. Better drawn here than last time but well held from his current mark twice already. Now has a bit prove.
Likes to make the running and already been cut some slack after a couple of below par runs since winning at Chelmsford in January. Has won here but not for quite some time.
Getting the hang of things and won with a bit in hand over C&D last time. Didn't achieve much but is 10lb higher; must be respected while confidence is on a high.
Has a course win to her name and looks well handicapped from her current mark. Been off since the summer though and might just need the run.
Won here three times last year but held off his revised mark last time. Respected but also looks weighted to the hilt judging by his latest start.
Form has taken a real nosedive lately and the gelding makes limited appeal despite his handicap mark matching his decline. Has ability but needs to stop the rot before losing becomes a bigger habit than he can cope with.
Won over a mile at Lingfield in November and possible this drop in trip won't be too much of an inconvenience. Could be a threat to all if set alight by the first-time cheek pieces.
Has plenty of ability but is 1-19 on the AW and has been frustrating to follow. Latest start was one of his better efforts but he's not one to rely upon too heavily for a repeat dose.
Forecasts
Astrospeed (6/4), Soar Above (5/2), Steal The Scene (11/2), Cuttin' Edge (7/1), Full Intention (16/1), Makaarim (20/1), Golden Nectar (25/1), Pearl Spectre (25/1)
It's taken a while for ASTROSPEED to figure out what's really required of him but he won with a bit in hand last time and looks worth following against this bunch of inconsistent rivals. Cuttin' Edge is interesting in the first time headgear and merits plenty of respect. Steal The Scene has been hard to win with but ran well enough last time to merit consideration as he receives weight from the rest.
- Astrospeed
- Cuttin' Edge
- Steal The Scene
