Bought for £47,000 after winning an Irish point-to-point on her second start and made a pleasing debut under rules when third of 10 at Warwick in November. Hasn't matched that in either start since, but worth a check in the market on handicap debut.

Form took a dip when fancied at Sandown last time in better company than this. Two of his best runs have come here, but he carries risks as a 12-race maiden.

Ostunit3(ex 7)

A tongue-tie and a lenient mark saw him dispose of a modest field on Sunday. A 7lb penalty in similar company may have the same result if confirming the impession that race took little out of him.

Age: 6|  Weight: 11-7| J: Wayne Hutchinson| T: Noel Williams| OR:  105

Plagued by mistakes on his last three starts but obvious claims with a clear round. Stable 2-3 in past fortnight.

Warwick novice hurdle winner on final start for Olly Murphy made an inauspicious start for these connections when tailed off on his first three starts for them. More needed against rivals in better form.

Pahaskah30
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-7| J: James Davies| T: C J Down| OR:  105

Modest strike rate for Gordon Elliott and she has plenty to having been tailed off on her latest start and with her trainer having gone 119 days without a winner.

Moonlight Dancerp168
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-5| J: Harry Skelton| T: D Skelton| OR:  103

Showed some ability on her first three starts over hurdles. Soon in trouble on handicap debut and cheekpieces fitted this time.

On the go continuously since January 2018 winning three of 16 races in that spell. Only 2lb higher than most recent win now but not in great form recently and generally comes up short in class 4 contests.

Tea Time On Mars33
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-2| J: Lucy Gardner(3)| T: Mrs S Gardner| OR:  100

A fourth to Holyrale in a bumper suggests there is some ability lurking within and his penultimate start suggested better times ahead. Hard to evaluate after a poor effort last time and probably best watched for now.

Mr Magillt11
Age: 7|  Weight: 10-3| J: Mr Jason Dixon(7)| T: Kieran Burke| OR:  87| CD
8/1
Shock winner from 11lb out of the weights here last week when coming out on top in a three-way photo. That was a slowly run affair and the form may be unreliable.
14
Horse silk
Lion Of Lackabane44
Age: 8|  Weight: 10-0| J: Brendan Powell| T: J D Frost| OR:  80
200/1
Has shown nothing in five starts over hurdles and he was beaten 114L in a weaker race last time.

Forecasts

Ostuni (1/1), The Brothers (9/2), Mr Magill (8/1), Ballybough Nora (17/2), Present From Dubai (10/1), Moonlight Dancer (11/1), Samson The Man (12/1), Lerichi Belle (12/1), Aclassagold (20/1), Tea Time On Mars (25/1), Kingston (33/1), Pahaska (33/1), Telegraph Place (40/1), Lion Of Lackabane (200/1)

Verdict

An uncompetitive affair despite the numbers and one which affords OSTUNI an outstanding opportunity to build on Sunday's Fontwell success. He faces equally moderate opposition and, having readily exploited an attractive mark, can defy the 7lb penalty before being reassessed. Samson The Man could be a danger if his brushing up his jumping, whilst The Brothers disappointed last time but his two previous runs here give him a chance of providing the selection with most to think about.
