Son of Dalakhani who fetched €50,000 as a yearling ran well on debut under front-running tactics when third at Kempton over this trip. More demanded here but should improve so solid place claims again.
Sea The Stars colt related to seven winners including Prix Vermeille winner Baltic Baroness finished eighth on debut over 1m at Chelmsford. This trip will suit considerably better and expecting vast improvement.
Son of Footstepsinthesand finished last of seven beaten 7L on debut over 1m at Chelmsford. Given time since and up in trip but would need a huge step forward to make the frame.
325.000gns son of Le Havre led until the final few strides latest over 1m2f at Newcastle which represented a vastly improved effort on debut where he ran very greenly. Has the best form on offer and will take plenty of beating.
Son of Mayson from a stout dam side family made an encouraging start when second here over C&D last month. Can only improve for that run and therefore has legitimate claims despite this looking a stronger contest.
Beaten 19L and 16½L respectively in her two starts to date. Life unlikely to get any easier here and looking for glimpses ahead of switch to handicaps.
Daughter of Camelot was last of eight over C&D on debut when Ydra finished second. Massive improvement now needed and although she can improve this will surely be too much too soon.
Forecasts
Top Power (4/6), Baltic Song (2/1), Ydra (11/1), Alpasu (12/1), Surrey Breeze (25/1), Enyama (100/1), Astrosparkle (100/1)
A much improved effort by TOP POWER at Newcastle means that he gets the vote in this above-average contest of it's type. Andrew Balding's colt was collared in the final strides over 1m2f but that doesn't for a minute mean he won't get 1m4f here. Baltic Song was a little disappointing on debut but given his connections and pedigree it is far too soon to dismiss him and this trip will be much more to his liking. Ydra was second over C&D on debut so is another worthy of consideration.
