More than a year since we saw a vintage performance from this former top-class veteran. Hard to fancy against these younger rivals despite a 4-6 record in this class.
Promised more when making a successful hurdling debut but form has gone from bad to worse. Visor applied this time.
Proven around here and handles the ground. Not disgraced on first two runs of this campaign and last two runs over fences can be ignored.
4-11 around here and has made the frame on four other occasions. Scored here in December but revised mark has been beyond him since and he remains vulnerable.
Half-brother to thorough stayer Jack Snipe. Has done nothing to warrant his current mark, but stable have landed a few gambles lately so interesting to see if the market speaks in his favour.
Made a winning seasonal debut when taking a 2m7f handicap hurdle at Haydock, but comfortably held off his revised mark since.
Fair second on hurdles bow at Southwell but nowhere near that level since. As a £100,000 purchase it is to be hoped there is a valid excuse and a market check is advisable.
Made full use of her abundant stamina for a C&D success a month ago. Still has room for improvement in her jumping, but not highly tried on handicap debut.
Dual winner for Tom Lacey over shorter. Yet to prove he stays this far and this track may find him out.
Winning point-to-pointer who has improved with each run under rules. On a workable mark for handicap debut and stable back amongst the winners on Wednesday.
Bred to be a lot better than he's shown so far in bumpers/novice hurdles he does at least step into handicaps for the first time having shown some ability. Hood now applied along with a step up in trip; market confidence the key.
Forecasts
Printing Dollars (9/4), Good And Hardy (9/2), Nearly Perfect (17/2), Max Forte (17/2), Chase End Charlie (9/1), Super Snipe (10/1), Buywise (10/1), Trans Express (11/1), Ballymagroarty Boy (20/1), Druide Premier (25/1), Ravensdale (33/1)
Super Snipe, Druide Premier and Nearly Perfect are potentially better than they have shown of late and are worth noting in early trading. Trans Express and Max Forte are proven around here and should be in the thick of things, but handicap debutants GOOD AND HARDY and Printing Dollars appeal as being beter handicapped. The latter beat a modest field here last time in a slow time but with a Grade 2 handicap being discussed as a target then she would be expected to beat these. However, her jumping has room for improvement. The selection has improved with each run and has little to find off this mark. His stable's horses have been going better lately and he looks the one to beat.
- Good And Hardy
- Printing Dollars
