Has improved on what he showed for Tom George in his first two starts over hurdles for this trainer. Looks to be on a workable mark for this chase debut. Interesting.
Scored here over hurdles in 2017, though all wins so far have been on soft, so has to prove he handles a sound surface. Returns from over a year off dropped in trip, but was promising previously, so can't rule him out.
Showed a modicum of ability in one of his hurdles runs. Goes chasing on first start since a wind op, sporting a tongue-tie. In good hands, and no surprise to see an improved effort.
Dual hurdles winner three years ago, but barren since. Better effort last time out (chase debut) at Plumpton. Should be suited by this longer trip, and not ruled out.
Has won from a higher mark over hurdles, but hard to recommend him on chase form. Blinkers now fitted.

Best To Come (1/1), Goodthyneaway (11/4), Cap Du Nord (3/1), Western Morning (7/2), Ask Paddy (9/2), Away For Slates (10/1), Arboretum (22/1)
If he takes his chance here, then Cap Du Nord would be entitled to plenty of respect, while Ask Paddy is interesting, and Goodthyneaway could show improvement for a wind op and the fitting of a tongue-tie. Western Morning and stablemate Away For Slates both merit consideration, but the suggestion is BEST TO COME, who wouldn't need much improvement to make a winning chase debut from this mark.
