Capable performer, but was not at his best when last seen at Thirsk in the summer. Stiff AW rating and is probably best watched following his absence.
Enhanced his fine record on Fibresand when runner-up over 7f last month. Drop to 6f not a concern and further 1lb rise in the weights is manageable.
Winner at this venue, but two runs over 7f following a break have been disappointing. Return to 6f looks a positive move and he is not out of it if returning to form in first-time cheekpieces.
Kempton winner in October and finished a close third at that venue on latest outing. Down 1lb and has to be of interest assuming he takes the switch to Fibresand in his stride.
Returning from a break when a fair fifth of eight at Newcastle last month. Feasibly weighted, but is 0-11 on the AW and has something to prove.
Two good wins over C&D at the back end of last year, but was behind Russian Realm at Newcastle on latest start. Should appreciate the return to this venue, but handicap mark looks stiff.
Stable companion of Russian Realm who has won three times on the AW and returns from a winter break. Untested on Fibresand and is probably best watched to see how he copes with it.
Kempton winner in August, but went up in the weights and has cut little ice since. Inching back down the handicap, but is not hard to oppose.
In-and-out form over 5f and now tries his luck over an extra furlong. Has been given a chance by the handicapper, but has work to do if he is to end a long, losing run.
Placed on his last four visits to this track over a variety of distances. Has been unable to score off this sort of mark, however, and for all that he appeals more than stable companion Samovar, other rivals look to have stronger win claims.

Plenty of these have one or two question marks hanging over them, but the two exceptions are Kamra and ANGEL PALANAS with preference for the latter on the basis of his fine record on Fibresand. The Great Wall is interesting fitted with cheekpieces, while Russian Realm looks the stronger of two stable representatives.
