Daughter of Havana Gold who cost only 3,000 gns last year. Showed early pace over 6f at this track on debut and may do better with that run under her belt dropped to the minimum trip.
Well beaten on both starts over much further at Haydock and Redcar. Significant drop in trip for first start on the AW and can only be watched.
Gelded son of Equiano whose dam won over 5f on the AW. Market check advised as he makes his debut.
Bits of form over 5f, including when second of five at Chelmsford last May. Has been gelded since his last run and tries his luck on Fibresand for the first time.
Monsieur Bond colt whose dam won over 1m4f. Pedigree suggests this trip may be on the short side as he makes his racecourse bow.
Equiano filly whose dam was a regular winner, including on the AW. Stable not noted for first-time-out winners, but this one's pedigree is appealing and she is certainly worth a check in the betting.
Unplaced in four starts, but was not disgraced on latest outing when fourth of seven over C&D. Needs to build on that, but improvement is on the cards given she is lightly raced.
Still seeking her first win after 12 starts, but has produced solid placed efforts on her last three runs, the latest at this venue. Has been found a decent opportunity to get off the mark.
Forecasts
So Hi Speed (11/8), Kadiz (13/8), Gupta (7/1), Fair Alibi (10/1), Abbi Dab (14/1), Termonator (25/1), Atwaar (33/1), Killer Queen (66/1)
An ordinary contest in which a newcomer would not need to be anything special to make a winning debut. Of those, Abbi Dab looks the most likely on paper and she is certainly worth a market check. However, the form choice is KADIZ, who is unlikely to get a better chance than this to shed her maiden tag. Atwaar, So Hi Speed and Killer Queen have shown enough to suggest they can figure.
- Kadiz
- So Hi Speed
- Abbi Dab
