Lingfield winner in November and not surprisingly found Grade 2 contests beyond him since. Will welcome the drop in class and has travelled up a long way from trainers Somerset base.
Sold for £100,000 after winning a Point-to-point last spring but although he has hit the frame all four starts over hurdles, needs to eke out a bit of improvement to win and it may be not until he goes chasing that we see the best of him.
Hasn't shown a great deal in a trip of Irish Point-to-points and although he has joined a good yard for rules debut, would need to see market interest before getting involved.
Slight improvement from debut when fourth at Sedgefield on latest but was 19L behind Hill Sixteen on that occasion and likely to need more time.
Similar level of form in a pair of bumpers and hurdle debut and probably one for further down the line.
Weak in market when creditable fifth at Wetherby and two winners have come from that race to give the form a solid look. As with so many from this yard, the market will reveal plenty but has the bare form to figure.
Similar level of ordinary form in two starts in bumpers and not hard to look elsewhere on this hurdles bow.
Intriguing hurdling newcomer. Rated 93 on the Flat where he was last seen finishing fourth in the Cesarewitch when sent off just 10/1. Would possibly prefer a sound surface but classy recruit to the winter game.
Won a Bumper at Ayr last spring but although well backed, may have needed the run when below that form on return to the track last month. Hurdling debut today.
Has hinted at some ability in three runs over hurdles but yard probably have better claims with Lily's Gem.
Failed to complete the course in four Point-to-points in Ireland and would be a huge shock if she proved good enough on hurdles debut.
Forecasts
Champagne Court (5/4), Vis A Vis (5/2), Hill Sixteen (7/2), Lily's Gem (10/1), The Big Galloper (20/1), Murphy's Law (33/1), Pleney (33/1), Retrace (100/1), Peak Time (150/1), Try It You (250/1), The Boo Box (250/1)
CHAMPAGNE COURT has has some stiff tasks since his Lingfield win and can make the most of this drop into calmer waters. Vis A Vis is a classy recruit and if taking to this game has to be respected while Hill Sixteen looks the pick of the remainder.
