16:20 Market Rasen Sun 17 February 2019
Off the mark at the first attempt over fences when taking a 2m5f novices' handicap by a nose on heavy going at Ffos Las two months ago. Absent since and a leading contender off a 4lb higher mark.
Twice a winner over hurdles but struggled since switched to fences and finished 42L fourth of five in a 2m novices' handicap chase at Taunton (good-to-soft) last time out. More needed in this contest.
Winner of two chases for previous yard but struggled in three starts for this stable most recently when returning to fences over an extended 2m6f at Leicester (good) earlier this week.
Course winner and not beaten far when finishing fourth of five over an extended 2m in a handicap chase at Newcastle (good-to-soft) just over a month ago.. Worth a check in the market having won off much higher marks in the past.
Course winner finished a good second over an extended 2m at Sedgefield (good-to-firm) at the end of August. Disappointed a Market Rasen (2m3f, good) the following month however and interesting to see how he fares on his return from a break.
