Finished runner-up on both starts since joining this stable including over 7f at Kempton earlier this month. Step up in distance looks likely to suit and he is a leading contender in this contest.
Improved on debut effort when finishing runner-up over an extended 1m at Wolverhampton just over two weeks ago. Represents a top yard but has a wide draw to overcome on this occasion.
Unraced Canford Cliffs gelding purchased for €12,000 as a yearling in 2017. Half-brother to winners Athlon and Senrima and interesting to see how he fares on debut.
Left debut running well behind when finishing third at Kempton over 7f earlier this month. Held by Derry Boy on that running but is an interesting runner on her first attempt at this distance.
Showed signs of inexperience when finishing seventh in a 1m novice contest at Kempton when debuting last month. Likely to have improved for the experience and better expected on this occasion.
Performed well when finishing 2L fourth in a 13 runner 7f maiden at Kempton on debut last month. Represents a good yard and looks likely to appreciate this step up in distance.
Fair form in two starts so far including when 10L sixth over this C&D last time out. Likely more needed if she is to break her maiden in this event however.
Showed promise when finishing 8¼L third in a 12 runner novice race over this C&D on debut last month. Interesting to see if she can build on that in this event.
Shaped as if she'd improved for the experience when finishing ninth in a 1m novice contest over this C&D on debut last month. Probably best watched at present.
Forecasts
Derry Boy (3/1), Reggae Runner (7/2), Red Fedora (5/1), Chop Chop (5/1), I'm Available (6/1), Perfect Grace (10/1), Dobrianka (16/1), Watch And Learn (20/1), Sir Canford (25/1)
DERRY BOY looks capable of getting off the mark at the fourth time of asking having finished runner-up the last twice. The selection should appreciate this trip and he can confirm last time out running with Chop Chop who can claim second here ahead of Reggae Runner who can overcome his wide draw to finish third.
- Derry Boy
- Chop Chop
- Reggae Runner
