Two runs for this yard now and has looked the type for handicaps on the back of those outings; most recent run over 7f here (fibresand debut). Now steps back to 6f for the first time making his handicap debut and may find this too sharp.
Twice placed over C&D and on the whole a consistent sort despite only winning once from 14 starts; win came over 5f. Has run respectably in her last two runs coming back from a break; now back up to 6f on a surface she's shown she can handle.
Has run consistently well on this surface (43312) with the win coming over 5f off a 7lb lower mark. Attempted to complete a hat-trick over 5f here last time (third on his one try here over 6f); thwarted by a penalty and racing on wrong part of track.
Won over C&D on a belated Fibresand debut and looked to have found a new lease of life. That hasn't proved to be the case though with his last run here being a disaster finishing well beaten; has to find some spark/zip before he's of interest.
Her two previous starts here have proved disappointing; does come into this on the back of her best run since her juvenile days though. The visor she wore last time is retained with this drop to 6f worth a try; needs to prove effectiveness here.
No stranger to Fibresand but a disappointing 0-11 here (placed four times); most recent outing here came in a poor 5f seller. Ran to just a modest standard last time and no drops done to his last winning trip off the same basement mark.
Four of his nine course wins have come at this trip but he has reached the veteran stage now. Well below form in his last three starts (last two over C&D); looks unlikely to add to his course wins even in this lowly grade.

Liamba (6/4), Gorgeous General (2/1), Qallaab (6/1), Canimar (15/2), Tasaaboq (16/1), Marble Bar (16/1), Dream Ally (33/1), Sir Geoffrey (50/1)
Not the strongest race as racing gets going again after the recent enforced break but GORGEOUS GENERAL looks to have a fair opportunity to regain the winning thread over a trip he looks a little unexposed at. Anything that is lightly-raced from the Mick Appelby camp is always of interest and he runs Qallaab who makes his handicap debut off a reasonable mark although there is a slight question mark over the trip. Liamba has proved herself on this surface and should provide the main danger with most of the others having plenty to prove on recent form.
