Ended a long losing run in selling company at Lingfield in December and landed another selling contest at that course last time out. Will find life tougher back in handicap company but not without each-way claims for a yard in form.
Course winner in August over 1m and has been running well in defeat in the most part around here since, only narrowly denied over C&D two runs back. Disappointed last time when doing too much too soon but capable off this mark.
Won a maiden at Nottingham back in 2017 but has finished unplaced in three AW starts this winter. Can miss the break, a negative at this course in particular and others make more appeal. Wears first-time tongue-tie.
Not the most consistent sort but on a workable handicap mark and impressive when winning at Kempton last month. Disappointed at Lingfield subsequently but he's run well here before and can't be ruled out.
Showed plenty of promise in maiden company and while he disappointed on handicap debut last time out at Sandown, he's surely capable of better. Makes AW debut on first start for this yard and expected to go well.
Ended a long losing run on debut for this yard when winning here over 1m. Bounced back from a below par effort with a fair third here last time and still feasibly handicapped on old form, despite being wrong at the weights here.
Forecasts
Central City (13/8), Come On Tier (3/1), Squire (5/1), Global Art (5/1), Dutch Uncle (7/1), Astrologist (16/1)
ASTROLOGIST is completely unexposed making his all-weather debut here and his young trainer does well with the horses he buys out of other yards. Squire isn't one to rule out at this venue while Murphy's other runner, Dutch Uncle is in good heart at present and is expected to go well.
