Had a consistent profile prior to latest start when only beating one rival home. That followed a five month break and the fitting of blinkers suggest it was more than fitness that was the issue.
Has been backed for better races than this in the past and current mark looks lenient. Wants it quick so the surface here may be more to her liking than Kempton. Worth a check in the market with the jockey booking catching the eye.
Kodiac filly that cost 75,000 gns as a yearling. Has regressed with each run and has barely beaten a rival.
Produced a career best three starts back but a long way below that form since and blinkers applied this time.
Oxbow colt, cost $215,000 as a yearling. Improved for the step up to this trip last time, but still has a lot more to find.
Half-brother to five winners produced a career best at Kempton when coming from a long way back to take third. Gelded since.
Scored over 7f here when showing a good turn of foot but failed to follow up off this mark when tapped for toe at a crucial point. Return to a mile is a positive and he is hard to dismiss.
Nothing to take from the filly's five previous starts and a large amount of improvement is required this time. Hard to recommend at this stage.
Had a few of these behind her last time when cheekpieces had a positive effect. Does not have much to find and yard in good form.
Poor filly who has been sprinting and has only finished ahead of one rival. Impossible to fancy with that record
Homebred son of Delegator who has finished last on all three starts. Makes handicap debut for yard who have gone a while without a winner.
Earns a basement mark following three runs down the field in novice company over 5f. Up in trip for handicap debut.
Forecasts
Ignatius (9/4), Keep It Country Tv (10/3), Elysian Lady (9/2), Drummer Jack (6/1), Sir Ox (10/1), Miss Green Dream (12/1), Isabella Red (16/1), Pot Luck (20/1), Crazy Spin (33/1), Ring Out The Bells (50/1), Supreme Chance (66/1), Scenic Lady (66/1)
Keep It Country TV arrives in better form than the rest of his rivals. Although he has won over 7f this trip should pose few problems and could lead to further progress. Miss Green Dream holds a few of these on latest form and her yard are on a good run, whilst Ignatius and Sir Ox produced career bests last time. ELYSIAN LADY has had plenty of chances but few as easy as this. The booking of Adam Kirby, stable form and the switch to a faster surface are all positive factors in a race that will take little winning.
- Elysian Lady
