He arrives in excellent form following a narrow C&D defeat (by Quarenta) earlier this month, and despite a subsequent 5lb rise in the weights rates as the horse the others must beat. Alternatives at better prices include the returning Horatio Hornblower, the wind-operated upon Commodore and the stout stayer Moorlands George.
