Trainer has a good record with two-year-olds this year on the AW (8-36) and 16-86 overall; 2-9 with juvenile here. Cost 130,000 guineas as a two-year-old and is a half-brother to useful winner Laieth; has to be respected here.
Only cost €2,500 as a yearling by Archipenko out of a dam who ran just twice. Trainer has a modest 6-71 record with juveniles this year and this one looks to have a tough task on debut.
Trainer has three runners in this race all of them looking to have only an outside chance of success. Cost €3,200 as a yearling out of an unraced dam and best watched on debut.

Dawn Approach gelding who cost 180,000 guineas as yearling; dam a winner at up to 1m2f related to a smart if unreliable type in Prince Siegfried. Trainer is 8-22 on the AW with his juveniles this year; interesting newcomer.
The third contender from this stable who runs in eyeshields on his debut. By Equiano he's a half-brother to a 1m4f winner out of a dam who was a juvenile winner at 1m. Looks one for further down the line and stamina tests.

Trainer has scored at a very respectable rate with his juveniles this year (11-62 on the AW); 29-155 overall. This one cost €50,000 as a two-year-old (cost slightly more as a foal and yearling) by War Command; dam was a runner-up in French sprints.

One of the few in this field with any experience he's been well held on both his starts and is yet to beat one home. Started at 200-1 each time and likely to be a similar price in this.
Just the one juvenile winner for the yard so far this year (1-33) although that winner did come on the AW. A €15,000 purchase as a two-year-old this Lilbourne Lad gelding makes his debut here with expectations on the low side.

First juvenile runner of the season who are not well known for their two-year-old combatants; 0-10 in this sphere last five years. By Dunaden she's out of an unraced mare and would be a surprise winner on debut.

Showed some ability on her AW debut over 1m at Kempton with the run likely to bring her on with the experience looking to be needed. Failed to settle totally but not disgraced and should do better here and move forward again.

Trainer does well with his juveniles here 14-29 (48%) and his strike-rate could well be enhanced here by this Dubawi newcomer out of a dam who was a 1m winner. Half-sister to the smart winner at up to 1m3f Almodovar; plenty expected first time out.

Looks to hold the best form of those who have run so far and bred to be useful for a yard who know all about juvenile winners. Showed plenty to work on when 4th on her debut (1m) at Wolverhampton and will know more this time around.

Forecasts

Fabulist (1/1), Enchanting Man (7/2), Approach The City (9/2), Farzeen (6/1), Cabarita (9/1), Red Hot (10/1), Mushaageb (20/1), Star Talent (25/1), It's All Gucci (33/1), Melissa (66/1), Art Of Diplomacy (100/1), Dreams And Visions (100/1), Amber (100/1), My Boy Monty (150/1)

Verdict

One or two interesting newcomers in this headed by FABULIST from the John Gosden yard that have a striking record with their debutants here who know what is required first time up. She won’t have it easy though with Charlie Appelby’s Enchanting Man in opposition, another stable that are capable of scoring with their juveniles first time up. Other debutants to note are Approach The City and Farzeen both from yards that are also adept with two-year-olds. Best of those with form is Red Hot who looked to need the experience at Wolverhampton and will have come on for that but may have run into some useful types here.
  1. Fabulist
  2. Enchanting Man
  3. Approach The City
