Six-time C&D who justified favouritism here last time out with some of these in behind. Just 4lb higher here and expected to be right there again given the form he arrives in.

Won twice at Wolverhampton for his previous trainer and it was a respectable effort in defeat back at that course last time out. Didn't give the impression he was crying out for a step back in trip though and has a wide draw here.

Two-time C&D winner who returned to form from a much reduced mark here last time out when runner-up. Left on the same mark and has to be considered a leading player if building on that.

Still a maiden after six starts and showed little on debut for this outfit last time when slowly away. Sire's progeny not known for their success on this surface.

C&D winner two starts back and put up another fine effort in defeat at Newcastle last time. Seemingly going the right way at present and leniently handicapped if he can translate the best of his turf form to Fibresand.

Four-time C&D winner who ran a huge race in defeat here last time when runner-up. Only nudged up 1lb for that and expected to be bang there with a repeat performance.

Course winner over 7f earlier in the year and has run well in defeat in a pair of C&D handicaps on his last couple of starts, most recently behind Zodiakos. Nudging up in the handicap but in good form.

Won back-to-back races in April but has struggled badly on all recent starts, including when failing to beat a rival home here last time. More needed.

Hit and miss performer, placed twice here in November but well beaten when last seen and out of the handicap here.
