Hasn't really progressed from early runs and has made no impact in four handicap starts to date. Latest effort over furlong further here was more encouraging.

Showed some ability on his debut over 7f here (ran green) in February but looked as though he needed a greater test of stamina. Just one further start when chasing home odds-on Southwell winner. Chance if fit on return to action.

£75,000 gelded son of Dragon Pulse, failed to impress on belated debut at Kempton last month over 1m4f, finishing in his own time. Hard to make case for.

Canford Cliffs filly, unfortunate to remain a maiden after five starts. Second four times, little disappointing latest at Southwell over 7f but excellent credentials here over new trip.

Kynance (4/11), Involved (9/2), Astone Man (7/1), Viento De Condor (14/1), Savlad (33/1), Nicky Nook (50/1)

Verdict

KYNANCE can be forgiven a failure on the Southwell surface last time, her previous effort when second at Newcastle and Kempton are appealing pieces of form and this looks a golden chance for Martin Harley's mount to shed the maiden tag. The obvious danger would be Involved, with just two starts and some ability shown already. The two newcomers have little to recommend them, with Atone Man likely best of the remainder.
