Yet to win in 16 starts on the AW but has run some decent races all the same. Poor effort last week at Southwell though and will need to be much sharper here off the same mark.

Has been hitting the crossbar a little of late from in and around this mark. Again only beaten 2L at Chelmsford last time. Pitched out wide here in stall 13 which is a worry.

Went close in a C&D handicap three starts back for David Brown. Has changed hands since and was well held over further at Kempton on stable debut last time. Return to this C&D a positive.

Has occasionally run well this year but remains a maiden in Britain and mark is starting to fall. Slow starts have become an issue and tends to be on the back foot from an early stage. Needs to break better to be competitive here.

Winner at Windsor in July (1m, good to firm) and often well backed since but has failed to follow that up. Only 1lb above that winning mark and drops back in trip after finding 1m4f too far last time.

Not having the best of times so far this year and mark has now dropped 8lb below her last win. Signs the last twice that maybe she's not far away from turning the corner and would be a player at her best for sure.

Decent form in three novice starts on the AW before fifth on handicap debut at Lingfield and close-up eighth at Yarmouth last time. Shapes like this step up in trip will suit and surely more to come with the hood removed here.

Winner at Leicester in August off a 6lb lower mark but has been out of form since. Interesting jockey switch her to Adam Kirby and would be a player if bouncing back to her best.

Has dropped right down the weights and possibly showed benefit of wind operation when running a cracker here over C&D to finish second of 12 three weeks ago. Given plenty of time and races of the same mark so major player if in the same form.

Alonso Canob121
Age: 3|  Weight: 9-2| J: D C Costello| T: J Hughes| OR:  62

Not sighted in three novice runs over various trips. Opening mark not overly generous but has blinkers on first time for handicap debut and any improvement would see him in the mix.

Often runs well without winning as he did when a close third in class 5 company at Kempton last time. More at home back down in grade but always the suspicion that he'll find one or two too good.

Glimmers of ability in four runs in novice events, the best of which when fourth at Kempton (1m). Moves into handicaps off a fair mark but needs some improvement all the same from a wide draw.

Tagleb65
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-12| J: P J McDonald| T: I Furtado| OR:  58

1m Dundalk winner for Joseph O'Brien in March but has been well held on all three starts for current yard. Mark is falling but needs vast improvement on what we have been seeing.

Forecasts

Arendelle (6/1), Corked (6/1), Red Gunner (7/1), Tagle (8/1), Bubbly (9/1), Screaming Gemini (9/1), Fieldsman (9/1), Winklemann (9/1), Dashing Poet (10/1), Cascella (18/1), Alonso Cano (20/1), Helfire (28/1), Brockagh Cailin (50/1)

Verdict

It would be no surprise to see an improved effort from Cascella now she has the services of Adam Kirby. If she returns to the form of her Leicester win she will be bang there. Bubbly, Brockagh Cailin and Alonso Cano all remain with potential to do better than we have seen so far. CORKED remains on a very dangerous mark and after bouncing back to form when second over C&D last time, is taken to go one better.
  1. Corked
  2. Cascella
  3. Bubbly
