Bought for £47,000 after winning an Irish point-to-point on her second start and made a pleasing debut under rules when third of 10 at Warwick. Fitness should now be boosted and has realistic claims here.

Bastantet15

150/1
Form in point-to-points was mixed but she was a comfortable winner in her final start. Beaten by halfway and eventually toiled in ninth of 10 on rules bow at Warwick and given Ballybough Nora was third in the same race she's hard to fancy.

Horse silk
250/1
Very keen in a bumper and two hurdle races to date. Unseated at Towcester on hurdles bow and only beat one home when tailed off since at Stratford. Will have to be a different proposition now after a break.
Taunton bumper winner last term has ran two thoroughly respectable races in very warm contests this term with the latest a particularly strong race at Cheltenham. Now makes hurdling bow and expected to go close for top connections.

13/8
Winning point-to-pointer made a fine start to her career under rules when a close second to subsequent Champion Bumper winner Relegate. Only sixth in a hot Cheltenham race on return but longer trip here a major plus so leading contender.
6
Horse silk
40/1
Hexham bumper winner last term has made little impression since in two similar contests and more recently two hurdle races where beaten 48L and 29L. Likely to struggle again here.

66/1
Point-to-point winner yet to get seriously competitive under rules and although her latest seventh at Warwick showed some ability she was well behind re-opposing Ballybough Nora so looks up against it here.

My Dixie15
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-12| J: Wayne Hutchinson| T: A King
20/1
Former point-to-pointer (fourth in lone start) made a decent start over hurdles at Warwick when fourth of 10. 2½L behind Ballybough Nora there but looked the sort to do better next so possible she can turn the tables here.
9
Horse silk
5/1
Won mares maiden point-to-point at Quakerstown in Ireland; swapped hands for £60,000 afterwards at Cheltenham and looked a bright prospect when winning a 13-runner 2m bumper. Longer trip and hurdles both positives, leading claims.
10
Horse silk
5/1
Huntingdon bumper winner in February was then pitched in at the deep end in Aintree Grade Two and not disgraced (eighth of 20). Hurdles and seasonal bow here but not ruled out if she takes to it.
11
Horse silk
250/1
Maiden in point-to-points and was well beaten at Taunton over hurdles latest when she fell at the sixth flight. Makes very little appeal here.

Forecasts

Danse Idol (13/8), Cedar Valley (4/1), Printing Dollars (5/1), Sparkling Dawn (5/1), Ballybough Nora (7/1), My Dixie (20/1), Get An Oscar (40/1), Hot Ryan (66/1), Bastante (150/1), Wingsofredemption (250/1), Call Sign Charlie (250/1)

Verdict

DANSE IDOL was one place behind Cedar Valley on return but the latter had the benefit of a recent run which Paul Nicholls' mare did not so she is taken to turn the tables with this longer trip sure to be in her favour now. The younger Cedar Valley should also like this step up in trip however so reversal is far from guaranteed and she too rates a leading player. Printing Dollars is unbeaten in one point-to-point and one bumper and also very much on the shortlist.
  1. Danse Idol
  2. Cedar Valley
  3. Printing Dollars
