Unraced home-bred Haafhd filly out of a four time winning mare. Probably best watched on her first appearance on the track.
Promising 3L fifth over this trip at Dundalk on sole start for Emmet Mullins in October. Well beaten on debut for this yard at Southwell last time out and likely capable of better.

Forecasts

Almashriq (8/11), Mosakhar (2/1), Cape Victory (13/2), Transpennine Gold (16/1), Cheap Jack (28/1), Spiritual Boy (50/1), Tails I Win (66/1), Gunnabedun (125/1), Football Friend (150/1), Amourie (250/1)

Verdict

Trainer John Gosden has introduced the likes of Enable and Without Parole here in recent years and his ALMASHRIQ is taken to break his maiden at the first time attempt in this novice event. The selection was an expensive purchase and he can take this at the chief expense of Mosakhar who represents a powerful Newmarket stable while Cape Victory who is out of a dual AW winner can take third.
  1. Almashriq
  2. Mosakhar
  3. Cape Victory
