Elite Hurdle winner VERDANA BLUE is an interesting contender lining up here for Nicky Henderson. She's very class over timber and could have plenty more to offer in this sphere after an easy win in a Chelmsford novice in September off a layoff. This could be a shrewd bit of placement from Seven Barrows. Architecture is the big danger, having herself returned from a year off with an excellent C&D second in this grade last month. The European raider Time Shanakill is another potentially key player while Spark Plug is class if this trip gets a bit more out of him.
