8,500 gns Makfi gelding that weakened over 1m½f here on debut. Drop in trip looks a good move on that evidence but needs to take a big step forward all the same.

Dam a half-sister to smart sprinter Temple Meads, and this son of Swiss Spirit saw his price rise to £120,000 as a yearling. Kept on well over this trip at Kempton on debut for close-up fourth. Should improve and leading contender.

Son of Hat Trick bought for £82,000 at the breeze-up sales. Stopped worryingly quickly on second start at Lingfield having shaped with promise on debut. Has had wind surgery since that run but best watched all the same.

Went unsold at 9,000gns as a yearling and bred to need further in time. Always behind on debut here over 6f and will need to take a big step forward here.

Gelded son of Lope De Vega who was slowly away and always outpaced on debut here over this C&D. Needs to take a big step forward on that effort here.
