C&D winner who has some other decent placed form on this unique surface. Not seen out for a while but with a stable that do well at this track and he would be in the picture if ready to go after a break; can be slow away.

First run for this yard having last been successful on heavy ground on turf back in May over a 2f shorter trip than he faces today. Makes his debut on this surface also (sire has a decent record on Fibresand); worth a glance in the market.

Pulled up over hurdles when last seen with his Flat form prior to that being of a very modest quality (won a Leicester 1m2f seller in May). Makes his Fibresand debut and others appeal more given his overall form.

Both her two Fibresand wins have come over this trip and she is back down to her last winning mark for a yard that punch above their weight here. Didn't really convince on her comeback run though over C&D; more needed.

Ran well enough on his one outing here off a 1lb lower mark (same trip today). A winner over slightly further when last seen on turf at Bath in a low-grade handicap but disappointed last time and needs to bounce back.

Makes her debut on this surface having run with a little promise on her comeback run last time on Tapeta (travelled well; short of room turning for home). Has won over this trip on turf off a 3lb lower mark; chance if she takes to Fibresand.

Another one who debuts on Fibresand having looked as though he's rather out of sorts of late on turf. Has slipped well below his last winning mark but on the whole looks regressive; best watched for now.

Needs no introduction on Fibresand having won here ten times (three over C&D) but is on the downgrade now. Last win here came in a seller and he showed very little on his return over C&D (always behind).

Just the one run here which saw him successful over this trip back in August (got first run on the 2nd). Has just run creditably since on Tapeta off slightly higher marks and he now returns to the scene of his last win with cheekpieces on again.

Twice placed here to prove that he acts on this surface but only has one win to his name and he's been in very little form of late including over hurdles.

Still yet to win a race but shaping as though there is one in her at some point having travelled through the race better than most over C&D last time. Still less exposed than most in this field and of interest of this lowly mark.

One of the more experienced runners on this surface (1-10) and usually likes to lead/race prominently. Can look a hard ride though and shaped as if she was amiss when last seen in July and has limited appeal even in this grade.

Lightly-raced three-year-old who makes her 2nd start in a handicap encountering this surface for the first time. Dropped 2lb for that initial effort (2f further)but went in snatches last time (also slow away); from top yard so worth a market watch.

Forecasts

Anna Jammeela (15/8), King Christophe (4/1), Glasgon (5/1), Jenny Ren (10/1), Go On Gal (12/1), Manomine (14/1), Filament Of Gold (16/1), Di's Gift (16/1), Wadacre Gigi (16/1), Mamnoon (20/1), Tilly Devine (25/1), Hayward Field (33/1), The Lock Master (40/1), Mulsanne Chase (66/1)

Verdict

Plenty of guesswork needed to unravel this low-grade opener on the card but ANNA JAMMEELA is one of the least exposed in the field and having run well here last time proved that she could handle the surface and looks to have some improvement left in her. Glasgon returns to the scene of his last win and should prove to be a danger along with Irish raider King Christophe if there is market support for that one. Di’s Gift can spoil his chance with a slow start but does have a 3313 record here and looks one for place backers while the three-year-old Wadacre Gigi is likely to be better than she’s shown so far.
  1. Anna Jammeela
  2. Glasgon
  3. Di's Gift
