Has continued to run to an extremely consistent level since Haydock win in July and while he has a penalty to overcome, he's unlikely to be far away.
Made it two from two on soft ground while taking a big step forwards in the latest of them at HQ. More required against his elders but has caught the eye physically and can't be discounted.
Losing run stretches over two years now and while he holds every chance on his best form, the first-time visor needs to turn things around from two disappointing efforts.
Second in a July Cup at his very best and well suited by an AW surface. Maiden win came over this trip but generally suited by shorter and needs to lift from two poor runs.
Yet to add to debut success and tailed off on first run back from a gelding operation. Tough ask off these terms.
Has raced exclusively over 6f during a eight-race career and improved since being gelded with a win and an unlucky third in a good quality sprint. Worth a try at this trip and should go close.
Hasn't won since debut but produced a career-best Listed third at Redcar and soft ground a valid excuse latest. Could bounce back and be competitive.
Decent Listed form in France and impressed on stable debut when just denied late at Wolverhampton. Plenty more to come for leading stable and rates a leading contender.
Forecasts
Breathless Times (6/4), Ghazawaat (9/2), Great Prospector (9/2), Salateen (5/1), Firmament (9/1), Sir Thomas Gresham (10/1), Tropics (20/1), Albishr (66/1)
Salateen is such a model of consistency he's unlikely to be far away for a stable that won this two year's ago but the three-year-olds may be hard to beat off these terms. Ghazawaat is interesting in first-time cheekpieces after a narrow defeat on British debut and remains a filly to keep on the right side of while BREATHLESS TIMES could have gone close with a clearer run in a quality sprint last time and is bred and has shaped as though an extra furlong could bring further progress.
- Breathless Times
- Ghazawaat
- Salateen
