Sent off a big price on Nottingham debut last month but showed little in rear throughout and will need to improve plenty now switching to the AW.
No show on debut but ran much better when midfield at Nottingham on subsequent start and if showing further improvement again should figure.
Strong in the market both starts to date and his latest effort at Kempton was a step forward. Both those runs were at 7f and certainly shapes as though this longer trip will bring about further improvement.
Third foal, son of Dansili. Brother to a 1m winner and dam, who won the Irish Oaks, is a sister to the top class Nathaniel. Smart pedigree and interesting to see what the market makes of his chances.
Son of Rock Of Gibraltar. Dam a winning sprinter and related to winners from 6f to 1m4f. Worth monitoring in the betting.
Oasis Dream newcomer, second foal and half-brother to a 1m winner. Dam ran twice in France. From a top yard who are 13-77 with juveniles this term. Tongue tied for debut.
8,500 gns Makfi newcomer who is a half-brother to winners from 1m1f to 1m4f. Dam won at 1m2f but stable not associated with juveniles winning first time out.
Third foal, son of Nathaniel. Dam won a Grade 3 in the States and this one makes plenty of appeal on paper as half-brother to the classy Utmost who won on debut and landed a 1m3f Grade 2 in America this summer.
Giant's Causeway son who wasn't knocked about on recent debut at Newbury but showed a touch of promise. Plenty of stable's newcomers improve markedly for experience.
Forecasts
So High (2/1), Copal (4/1), Madeeh (9/2), Hadeer (7/1), Great Bear (8/1), Cadeau d'Amour (10/1), State Of Affair (14/1), Arizona Glory (20/1), Maktay (33/1)
Those with experience don't set that high a standard and SO HIGH is a fascinating newcomer from a top stable who have been known to unleash smart types on the AW. In a race where the market will provide plenty of clues Great Bear is of interest and Copal looks best of those already to have made the track.
- So High
- Great Bear
- Copal
