Similar level of form in three maidens on the AW but presumably thought capable of better as has been strong in the market on two of those occasions. Now handicapping so could do better.
Very slowly away first two starts but broke better last time when showing promise in a novice event over C&D and capable of further improvement now handicapping. Worth noting in market.
Was beginning to look exposed but drastic improvement in first time blinkers over C&D last week when 2L second of 13, finishing 8L clear of the third. Runs off the same mark today (5lb well in) and not surprisingly the blinkers are retained.
Has shown little in trio of maidens and needs this step into handicap company to handicap company to bring about plenty of improvement though high profile yard amongst the winners.
Improved on first visit to the track when getting off the mark in a 7f nursery here last month. Up 6lb in a stronger race now though extra furlong should be in his favour.
Regressive form at sprint trips prior to trying this distance on latest. That didn't bring about any improvement and the form has also taken a few knocks.
Moderate form to date at various trips including in tongue tie last time. Dropped 5lb but hard to fancy on evidence to date.
Exposed maiden who has 12L to find with Toro Dorado from last week and they meet on the same terms now.
Didn't improve for the step up to 1m on latest. First time visor goes on but not hard to look elsewhere.
Has shown some ability and was the subject of a gamble when stepping up to 1m here last time but didn't seem to see the trip out and has stamina to prove now.
Forecasts
Toro Dorado (5/2), Dancing Jo (11/4), Irish Art (4/1), Red Phoenix (5/1), Rambaldi (7/1), Keep It Country Tv (20/1), Miss Green Dream (25/1), Miss Vixen (33/1), Dolly Dupree (33/1), Habanera (66/1)
If the blinkers have the same effect as they did last week TORO DORADO looks sure to take a lot of beating off the same mark. Irish Art has the look of an improver now going handicapping and along with Dancing Jo appear the main dangers.
- Toro Dorado
- Irish Art
- Dancing Jo
