Started at big prices on both runs under rules (2m3f+ to 3m) and hasn't proved to be competitive at the business end of either of those races after racing far too keenly early; hooded.
Bought for £35,000 in November 2017 (ex-Aidan Fitzgerald); expected to improve from his C&D hurdles debut (soft) last month when a never on terms eighth of 13 to Simply The Betts; trainer also saddles Hitman Fred.
Has started at massive prices on all four previous attempts over hurdles, including over 2m1f at Carlisle latest; not considered.
Bought for £90,000 in May 2017 (winner of a 3m Bartlemy PTP); started off well under rules in a bumper at Kelso in January, but hasn't quite kicked on since; likely sharper for his hurdles debut at Carlisle (in a competitive race).
Useful performer on the Flat (92-rated), as shown when finishing a close up third of 20 in the John Smiths Cup of 2017 (York); given a light campaign on the level in 2018, including in the Cambridgeshire (18th of 33); hurdles bow.
Pulled hard early and ultimately well beaten at the finish (last of 12) on debut at Carlisle last month; comfortably held by Weather Front and others.
Started 4/1 on debut in a 3m maiden PTP at Stradbally in May, but could only finish in mid-division; makes his rules/stable/hurdles debut and can be expected to improve for the experience.
Completely lost his way on the Flat (rated in the 90's for David Marnane in Ireland), and no signs of a revival on hurdles debut at Carlisle (2m3f+) when a well beaten fifth of seven to Imperial Aura.
Has shown some minor ability in bumpers, with his latest run (sixth) coming in a fair race by Sedgefield standards. That said, he needs to find a significant amount of improvement for the switch to hurdling in order to even make the frame.
Didn't convince at all on his hurdling debut here in May (3m) and has since left the care of Rebecca Menzies (still in the same ownership); dropped in trip and hooded, but very unlikely.
Versatile Flat performer (76-rated) who handles both turf and artificial surfaces; produced an excellent hurdles showing to get within 2L of the talented Good Boy Bobby at Carlisle (2m1f+, good to soft) last month, so should go close.
Dam was a dual PTP winner (also raced under rules), and it's early days for this now tongue-tied mare, but she looks to be comfortably out of her depth here on hurdles debut.
Her best effort came on debut in a 2m AW bumper at Newcastle in February (finished 3L third to Bournville); her trainer knows this family line well (dam a 2m3f hurdle winner), but she's more of a longer-term handicap prospect.
Hasn't raced over hurdles for over 24 months, but has managed to win a couple of staying races on the Flat under similar conditions (at Ripon and Redcar); plenty to find on balance.

Mistiroc is a most interesting hurdles newcomer for John Quinn and were this a Flat race, he'd have the beating of the Karen McLintock-trained WEATHER FRONT at level weights. However, the selection has the benefit of a recent run over obstacles at Carlisle and that was some performance to get within 2L of the promising Good Boy Bobby (Nigel Twiston-Davies). That form has been franked at Musselburgh on Tuesday by the under-performing Return Ticket (sixth), so another horse from that Carlisle race, Rose Dobbin's Hitman Fred could potentially fill the remaining minor place spot this afternoon.
