Bought privately for £22,000 in January after finishing runner-up in a 3m maiden PTP; finished a distant last of four on rules/stable debut in a Uttoxeter bumper in March; hurdles debut.
Modest on the Flat (47-rated) and 0-5 over hurdles, although did finish runner-up in a juvenile hurdle at this track in June 2016 (for previous trainer Phil Kirby).
Beaten just ¾L in a similar C&D maiden in October and has broadly run to a similar level of form since without necessarily progressing; holds a better chance than some, but place prospects only.
Disqualified after winning a 3m Belclare PTP in March (prohibitive substance in sample) and has moved onto pastures new ahead of this his rules/hurdles debut.
Not beaten far in the second of his two starts in points (3m, soft at Castletown-Geoghegan) and has crossed the Irish Sea to join a new trainer ahead of this his rules/hurdles debut.
Well regarded by his trainer, and the winner of a couple of soft/heavy ground bumpers since being bought for £65,000 in December 2017; beaten by the promising Al Dancer on hurdles debut at Carlisle (2m1f+, good to soft) last month.

With respect to the other six runners, this rates as a golden opportunity for the well regarded WINDSOR AVENUE to strike at the second time of asking over hurdles. He travelled well for the majority of the race at Carlisle last month when seeing off all bar the promising Al Dancer (Nigel Twiston-Davies), and granted a clear round of hurdling, he looks to be a penalty kick in the opener.
