Has responded to the fitting of blinkers with impressive back to back victories under this rider. Taking on better company tonight under a stiff penalty, but the stable do well with this type and she may be worth following until beaten.

Executive Forcep56

Scored on debut and beaten in 19 races since. Promised to deliver soon when attracting support last time only to find the steady gallop working against him. The presence of Andalusite should help along with the extra furlong.

All four career victories have come in this grade and he has a solid AW record. On the downside the yard's horses have been below par lately.

Teenage Gal41

Had been in-form with two places either side of a win but found the sharp rise in class against her at Newmarket. This grade is more suitable, but needs to prove she can stay this far and improve on her two previous AW efforts.

Well-drawn to exploit her front-running style and has gone well here in the past. Best form has come off lower marks.

Has easily plucked two minor C&D handicaps. Back from a two month break and up 10lb against superior rivals, but not easily discounted.

Fieldsman2

Ended a long losing run at Brighton. Meets It's Not Unusual on 14lb better terms for a 3¾L C&D defeat two weeks ago and this easier than Monday's Kempton contest.

Channel Packet20
Age: 4|  Weight: 9-2| J: Mark Crehan(7)| T: M Appleby| OR:  65

Has hit form lately and proven himself effective from 7f-1m2f. Now he needs to improve significantly on previous AW efforts.

Forecasts

It's Not Unusual (5/2), Executive Force (11/4), Channel Packet (6/1), Fieldsman (6/1), Roof Garden (6/1), Golden Guest (12/1), Teenage Gal (20/1), Andalusite (20/1)

Verdict

Strong cases can be made for Executive Force and Fieldsman but neither are easy to win with. Roof Garden was in excellent shape when last seen but a two month break may swing this in favour of IT'S NOT UNUSUAL. Archie Watson's filly has improved greatly for blinkers and it often pays to follow the yard's handicappers once they embark on a run like this.
  1. It's Not Unusual
  2. Executive Force
  3. Roof Garden
