Has run to a similar level the last twice, including over a trip too short on handicap debut. On a good mark and likely to be suited by this step up in trip.

€30,000 Zebedee colt has struggled to get involved in three starts. Needs to take a big step forward on handicap debut off this opening mark.

Hasn't progressed since her debut while continuing to run to a consistent level. Should remain competitive in this grade but drop in trip a negative.

Aussie Rules colt has been well held in all three starts and improvement required on handicap debut. Others look stronger candidates.

€14,000 yearling who put in an improved performance in first-time visor over this C&D but disappointed back on turf. Ground looked unsuitable and worth another chance back at this track in change of headgear.

Left his first three starts behind when just failing to get up over this trip at Newcastle. Shaped as though still learning the job and likely plenty more to come. Should go close.

No Bills20
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-2| J: Nathan Evans| T: M & D Easterby| OR:  60

Has run to a consistent level in four starts including on handicap and AW debut. Should have more to offer up a furlong and one of the more likely types.

Cheap purchase at 10,000 gns who hasn't shown enough in three starts, including in a seller latest. Has now been withdrawn after getting worked up pre-race on three occasions.

Showed little in four starts for Henry Spiller and was poor on handicap debut. Best watched on first run for new stable.

Poor form in three starts in novice company and this will need a huge step forward on handicap debut. Hard to make a case for.

Broke through over this distance at Newcastle on start number eight. Well below that off this revised mark in two runs since and needs to find more.

Forecasts

Jem Scuttle (4/1), Um Shama (9/2), Your Mothers' Eyes (5/1), Joey Boy (7/1), Second Collection (15/2), Wayfaring Stranger (12/1), Fighting Spirit (14/1), No Bills (14/1), Moonlight Escapade (16/1), Peters Pudding (20/1), Mersey (25/1), Kompton Mckenzie (25/1)

Verdict

PETERS PUDDING is on a fair mark based on his close fourth over this C&D and it may pay to give him another chance in first-time blinkers, as he could well be a much better horse on the AW. Jem Scuttle rates the obvious danger after showing much improved form when just failing to land a gamble on handicap debut. Second Collection and No Bills are respected now they move up in distance.
  1. Peters Pudding
  2. Jem Scuttle
  3. Second Collection
