In good form on this sort of ground in April, but recent displays have not been to that level. Connections reach for a visor in a bid to turn the tide.
Looked well handicapped over 5f at Catterick recently and duly ran her best race for some time to be a close second of 13. Runs off the same mark and longer trip is not an issue.
Cut little ice on the AW at Kempton on Friday and previous efforts were not particularly encouraging. Has a bit to prove at present.
Solid effort when third of 16 over C&D at the end of last month. Competes off the same mark and is likely to be in the shake-up.
Back to winning ways when landing a C&D apprentice handicap in a first-time visor. Obvious chance off the same mark with the headgear retained.
Knocking on the door before landing a Catterick handicap last week. Turned out again under a 6lb penalty and has to enter the equation.
Had Cliff behind when runner-up over C&D last week. Competes off the same rating and has a solid chance with underfoot conditions likely to suit.
Wore cheekpieces for the first time when not beaten far at Catterick last week. The headgear is fitted again and he runs off the same mark.
Had Clergyman behind when runner-up at Catterick. Clearly in good heart and has to be considered with his rating unchanged.
Hamilton winner in September, but has struggled off this mark on his last two starts. Others look better handicapped.
Out of sorts over C&D last time, but previous second at Thirsk was fine. Handles cut in the ground and has an each-way shout.
Back to winning ways when scoring at Yarmouth last time. That was on a sound surface, though, and 4lb rise makes life difficult.
More encouraging run when fourth of 11 at Hamilton in August. Needs to build on that and 2lb drop in the weights should help.
Good effort when close third to Gilmer over C&D last week. Chance to turn the tables with 7lb claimer on board.
Chepstow winner in August, but has been well below that form in three subsequent starts. One of the less obvious contenders.
Decisive winner of an apprentice contest over C&D last week yet is able to run off 2lb lower. Has to go on the short list.
No wins in 11 starts, the last three of them over 7f. Drop in trip and reduced handicap mark should help, but others make more appeal.
Veteran who won at Thirsk in July and has not been disgraced over C&D on last two outings. Looks vulnerable to better-handicapped rivals.
Favourite when runner-up to Spirit Of Zebedee at Catterick. Has every chance of turning the tables on these revised terms and looks the strongest of his stable's three runners.
On a long, losing run and was well held on latest start at Catterick. Hard to make a case for on recent evidence.
