Placed in a trio of maidens prior to finishing well beaten at Fairyhouse last time. Interesting contender switched to AW here on handicap debut.
Maiden winner at Bellewstown last year but struggled from his handicap mark subsequently and well beaten in a claimer here last time. Starts out for a new yard and perhaps best watched at present.
Showed promise in maiden class before winning a 7f claimer here last time out. Fascinating contender here if she can build on that success from a workable handicap mark.
Still a maiden after 10 starts and has shown no improvement in two starts since switching to AW. Wears first-time cheekpieces.
7f winner at Wolverhampton and produced just about a career best when placed here last time at big odds (50/1). 2lb higher now but not out of this if he can build on his recent effort.
Still a maiden after 13 starts but some of her better efforts have come at this course and dropped another 1lb after a respectable effort here last time out. First-time blinkers may eke out some improvement and she's interesting here.
Won twice earlier in the campaign and has shaped like a return to form is imminent on her two most recent starts since returning from a break. Interesting returning to AW for the first time since her debut.
Still a maiden after 14 starts but two of her better efforts came here and she returns to AW 10lb below her mark when placed here at the end of last season. Interesting contender.
Still a maiden after 15 starts but hasn't been able to land a blow in claiming races on recent starts here and others arrive with stronger form.
Shaped with some promise on multiple starts for John Gosden but he's shown very little for this yard and he's best watched at present.
Unplaced on each of her five starts but some of those efforts certainly not devoid of promise. Her breeding suggests a switch to AW racing could suit and she's dropped further in the handicap.
Still a maiden and unplaced in nine starts. Hard to fancy form out of the handicap in a race this competitive.
Forecasts
Dubai Rainbow (4/1), Ancestral (5/1), Proud And Elated (5/1), Russian Campaign (6/1), Natty Dresser (7/1), Descendant (9/1), Stormy Tale (9/1), Patrick Joseph (12/1), Daubney's Dream (12/1), Stealth (16/1), Poetic Light (25/1), New Vocation (33/1)
DUBAI RAINBOW may have only won a claiming contest here last time out but the handicapper has given her a real chance from her revised handicap mark and she's less exposed than several of these, having just her fourth start. It may be too early to give up on Russian Campaign and a switch to all-weather racing may suit but Proud And Elated could be the main danger in first-time headgear.
