Losing run stands at 30 and stretches back all the way to a Listed win at Haydock in May 2016. No obvious signs of a return to form in recent starts and others preferred.
Has won two of his last four starts that included a win in a decent looking race at Leicester last time out. Only nudged up 1lb for that and he's a fascinating contender here.
Has won some nice races this year and tends to give his running, even when he doesn't win. Conceded first run to the winner last time at Ascot and remains capable of better, particularly with this jockey taking over.
Won a handicap at Ripon in August but his two subsequent runs have been disappointing, particularly at Haydock last time when only beating one home. Drop back in trip not certain to be ideal.
Soft ground specialist who was impressive when showing a game attitude to win at Haydock before another respectable effort when just run out of the places back at that course last time. Probably would have wanted more rain.
Has been unlucky at times this year but belatedly got his head back in front ahead of Muntadab last time out and may be able to build on that. This is his optimum trip and ought to be able to build on that.
Very inconsistent these days and while he won a decent contest at Newbury earlier in the campaign, he's finished unplaced on his other 11 starts this season. Will gets the strong pace that he needs to aim at here but clearly a risky proposition.
Rattled off a hat-trick this summer but there's just a few signs the handicapper has caught up with him on recent starts. Had a minor excuse when denied a clear run last time and not without place claims.
Won two of his seven starts for William Haggas last year and bounced back to form with a win last time out at Goodwood. This is tougher and hasn't won at two starts over this trip.
A winner in France and shaped like a return to form may be imminent when placed behind Hayadh last time out at Musselburgh. Interesting if he can build on that here and not as exposed as some.
Won three times last year but losing run is mounting up now and he's looked far from straightforward on recent starts (often slowly away and can take a keen hold). Others preferred at present.
Has won four times already this year but signs the handicapper has caught up with him on recent starts and may have preferred quicker ground than he will get here.
Heavy ground winner at Carlisle last year but his efforts have been poor either side of that and he was far too keen at Kempton last time. Others preferred.
Won twice over sprint trips earlier in the campaign but has struggled since she's been stepped up in trip and has plenty to do to turn the form around with some of these at Musselburgh last time out.
Has won three times this summer and back on his last winning mark after some disappointments since his Goodwood success over 6f. Effective over this trip and can't be entirely ruled out.
Won a claiming race at Beverley earlier in the year and runner-up in a seller last time out but this looks a decent race for the grade and may have wanted more cut in the ground.
Won four in a row at Southwell over the winter but hasn't won on turf since 2015 and has disappointed on his last couple of runs.
More effective on AW than turf and has been disappointing on recent starts. Looks up against it and she's better over 1m.

RIPP ORF has been in flying form all season and the gelding should get a decent pace to aim at here; he's taken to land this and gain his fourth win of the season. Hayadh and Muntadab should be capable of running well again after wins last time out and rate as the two main dangers.
