Plenty of experience over Jumps in Ireland for Gordon Elliot and has shown ability in two starts for his current yard. Up another furlong and has to give weight away all round, so will take a good effort from him on these terms.
Had wind surgery earlier in the year but still managed a win at Ayr in June. His form has dipped since then but is back on a handy mark. However, the gelding needs to improve on his latest start (which was also his debut for his new yard).
Hit form at the right time and revelled under the conditions at Hamilton last time out. Up 4lb for a convincing win, the colt wasn't stopping at the finish and ought to cope with the extra distance here. Shortlisted.
Acts on the predicted going and is only 2lb above his last winning mark, so has a feasible chance at the weights. However, confidence is compromised by two modest starts this term, which leaves the gelding with a bit to prove just now.
C&D winner with plenty in hand last time out; up 6lb for that success but may still have more to come. Doesn't stand much racing, though, and there has to be a doubt about his ability to reproduce the effort so quickly. The betting can guide.
Thrived since joining his current yard and a bonus point for winning over C&D in August. Needs to prove he handles softer ground but can be a player if he copes. A career-best effort is needed for another visit to the winner's enclosure, though.
Gone well here before now and has the ability to win a race (0-7 so far, though). Tried numerous headgear applications and now sports cheekpieces and tongue-tie combination in the hope of gaining the elusive first win. Poor effort latest though.
Won a Pontefract maiden (1m2f) on soft ground as a juvenile but hasn't looked the same force for his new yard this season. Big improvement required.
Ought to like the galloping nature of this course and will be suited by tagging on to a fair pace. However, his ability to handle the ground is questionable and the fact he's been brushed aside a couple of times lately casts a big shadow.
Left Sir Michael Stoute before he'd even raced and has yet to make any sort of lasting impression from his starts so far. Would be a surprising winner if he managed to pull something out of the fire.

Soldier To Follow (2/1), Icario (7/2), Bill Cody (5/1), Big Sigh (13/2), Grecian Spirit (7/1), Hazarfan (8/1), In Demand (9/1), Only Orsenfoolsies (20/1), Ice Galley (22/1), Contrebasse (25/1), Misscarlett (50/1), Thorntoun Care (100/1)
This could be a good time to keep faith with SOLDIER TO FOLLOW, who won with a bit in hand last time out and could take some stopping if he can brush aside a 4lb higher mark. Only Orsenfoolsies, whose yard won this in 2016, is expected to strip a lot fitter now he's got the benefit of a run behind him, and he along with Grecian Spirit, is feared as a big threat to the selection.
