25-race maiden has shown next to nothing this term after missing all of 2017. Plenty to find on recent offerings since August.
Half-brother to several winner the Henrythenavigator gelding could be worth a market check on belated racecourse debut.
Disappointing 16-race maiden who has raced here on four occasions with best form coming over 7f and 1m. Hard to construct much of a case for him.
Solid and consistent figures over the summer in a number of promising efforts. Market likely to reveal chances on AW debut.
AW debut for the Footstepsinthesand gelding since moving from the Joseph O'Brien-yard following a couple of dismal displays.
Tongue-tie fitted for the son of Dandy Man out of a Captain Rio mare on AW and racecourse debut. Watching brief.
Comes here for debut at the venue following a promising sixth of 18 in a Fairyhouse maiden over 7f, beaten 4L. Open to plenty of improvement.
First-time hood is removed following a 2¾L defeat at Cork recently in what appeared to be an improved run. Beaten 2L on sole start here and may appreciate step up in trip.
Took a big step forward from previous form when third in a big field maiden at Navan before disappointing again at the same track earlier this month. Plenty to prove at present.
One pace and never a factor on debut in a Leopardstown maiden over 7f when last seen in June. Best to look elsewhere.
Without a win in 11 starts with a shuddering defeat over 6f when last of 10 here in August included. Will need to raise overall performance to play a role here.
Filly by Arcano out of a Generous mare. One pace and no impression on debut over 6f here earlier this month. Hard to place any faith in.
Well held in a number of dour displays over the summer and first time cheekpieces unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed to play a role here.
Running well in defeat in two of her last three starts including here over 7f earlier this month. Entitled to make the shortlist.
Forecasts
Sky Moon (9/4), Proud And Elated (9/2), Dawn Trouper (9/2), Tintoretto (11/2), Kendwar (11/1), Captain Dan (12/1), Figure It Out (20/1), Amaretto Stone (25/1), Chillala (25/1), Approbare (33/1), Gala N Dandy (40/1), Bedtime Story (50/1), Feetinthesand (50/1), King Citric (50/1)
While the debut appearance here of Dawn Trouper is sure to gain interest following solid runs in the summer, the progress of the Joseph O'Brien-trained PROUD AND ELATED catches the eye, especially running the Mick Halford-trained Ahlan Bil Zain to 2½L here last week. The three-year-old can get off the mark at the 12th time of asking at the expense of Peter Fahey's Sky Moon and the potential improver, Tintoretto.
- Proud And Elated
- Dawn Trouper
- Sky Moon
