Off the mark for connections at the seventh time of asking when landing a handicap over C&D off a 10lb lower mark earlier this month. Another bold show looks likely.

Will have disappointed connections with a series of dismal efforts to date. Fifth of 10 beaten a little over 4L here over C&D in August. Any market move should be monitored.

Fifth of 10 beaten a little over 3L in a Down Royal maiden over 5f last month appears to be a career high in between some gloomy displays since August. Looks a tall order on form shown.

Plenty to like about most recent starts on turf and here earlier this month. Yard have a terrific 31% strike rate here in early/mid October and sent out four winners here seven days ago.

Lightly raced colt, well held in two of his three disappointing starts so far. Hard to fancy until he shows a hint of ability.

Verdict

More than impressive winner here over C&D earlier this month EAGLE SONG can take the prize here seeing off the attentions of Andrew Slattery's Sunset Nova who is improving with every run and Fozzy Stack's Chernish who deserves a good rub of the green before long following a number of solid and consistent runs recently. The persistent Vhagar and Aiden O'Brien's Mona Lisa's Smile deserve plenty of respect here.
